General description
The Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System is a blend of Taq DNA polymerase and a thermostable proofreading protein that lacks polymerase activity. The Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System is designed to amplify fragments up to 5 kb from all types of DNA with high yield and fidelity. It amplifies DNA with sixfold greater fidelity than Taq DNA polymerase alone.Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System also incorporates dUTP. Cross-contamination can therefore be prevented by a pretreatment of dUTP containing DNA with heat-labile Uracil-DNA Glycosylase before amplification. It is suited for the simultaneous amplification of a large number of targets.
