Furfuryl alcohol has been used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of furfuryl alcohol in:Transformer or rectifier oils by solid-phase extraction (SPE), liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) equipped with variable ultraviolet (UV) detector.It may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of furfuryl alcohol in:Coffee samples by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) and gas chromatography (GC) coupled to flame ionization detector (FID) as well as mass spectrometry (MS).Jukro tea samples by simultaneous distillation-solvent extraction (SDE) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).Electronic-cigarette refill solutions by GC coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) operating on electron impact (EI) mode.Coffee samples by HPLC coupled with diode array detector (DAD).
