Stericup E and Steritop E sterile vacuum systems are the newest addition to the Stericup Quick Release Family. The Stericup E and Steritop E family of devices are designed as a more sustainable option for sterile filtration that significantly reduces plastic and packaging. These are funnel-less filter products for use in the sterile vacuum filtration of aqueous solutions such as media and tissue culture reagents/buffers.The Stericup E and Steritop E devices are designed specifically for sterile filtration from compatible bottles (38 and 45 mm neck size) of media and tissue culture reagents/buffers. Like Stericup Quick Release filters, Stericup E devices feature a tactile-stop cap to signal secure closure, an ample textured writing surface, and filter membrane characteristics clearly labeled on the filter collar.SEGPU1138 combines a 38 mm threaded collar, which uses a 0.22 µm pore size fast flow PES Express PLUS membrane, with a 1000 mL receiver flask for sterilizing tissue culture media and buffers. Not recommended for reagents prepared in other vessel type devices like flasks or anything without a threaded neck.
