TAE Buffer (50X) is a concentrated solution of 2M Tris-acetate and 100mM Na₂EDTA in distilled/deionized water (pH 8.3 at 1X concentration). TAE Buffer is used for agarose DNA electrophoresis. Keep in a tightly closed container, stored in a cooled, dry, ventilated area. Avoid contact and inhalation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, on clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.
