Les systèmes d'étiquetage et de détection directs AlkPhos sont basés sur l'étiquetage Direct et rapide des sondes d'ADN ou d'ARN avec phosphatase alcaline thermostable. La détection CDP - Star ou ECF peut être utilisée.
Les sondes d'ADN ou d'ARN sont étiquetées lors d'une réaction de 30 minutes et les sondes résultantes peuvent être utilisées sans purification. La rigueur de l'hybridation peut être contrôlée par la température ainsi que par la concentration en sel. La détection est rapide, ne prenant que 30 minutes de la fin de l'hybridation à l'application du réactif de détection.
Chaque système comprend les réactifs suivants, suffisants pour 25 ou 50 réponses d'étiquetage et détection de 250 cm2 ou 5000cm2 membrane (en fonction du produit commandé): étiquetage du réactif, Croiseur, ADN de contrôle, tampon de réaction, tampon d'hybridation et agent de blocage.
