NGA2F N-glycan is a fucosylated biantennary oligosaccharide (FBO) that may be found in the Fc region of IgG. In a study of glycans isolated from a recombinant monoclonal IgG1, high-mannose oligosaccharides were reported to be cleared at a faster rate than FBOs. A study of diethylnitrosamine (DENA) induced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in rats found significant elevation levels of two specific N-glycans compared to NGA2F N-glycan levels in HCC rats. NGA2F, NGA2FB, and NA2F N-glycan levels in normal human serum were found to be age- and gender-dependent.
