Dowex^® Marathon^™ MR-3 hydrogen and hydroxide form was used in assessing inorganic nitrogen in litter layer and soil using ion-exchange resin bags on Alpkem autoanalyzer and by ion chromatography.

Mixed bed ion exchange resin specially processed resin for condensate polishing; best for in-process and column demineralization.

Dowex Marathon MR-3 is a premium, premixed, mixed bed product designed for polishing demineralized water to conductivities ﹤0.1 µS/cm. Marathon MR-3 is a 1:1 equivalent mixture of Marathon C-10 (H) and Marathon A (OH)

This ion-exchange resin has not been specially processed nor cleaned. We suggest that it be treated to a suitable preliminary elution and wash.
