Celebrating Excellence at SLS Awards Summer Party

Last week, we celebrated the annual SLS Awards Summer Party. This event is our way of showing appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our beloved staff members who help SLS grow and thrive. We are immensely proud of each and every achievement they bring to our company. Join us in celebrating their successes and discover this year's winners!

Business Support Excellence Award: Congratulations to Fran Phillips for winning this prestigious award, with Tiff Emmerson & Anil Sohal as well-deserved runner-ups.

Customer Services Administrative Excellence Award: The winner of this category is Karen Brown, with Emily Gill & Hollie Quinn receiving honourable mentions for their contribution.

Customer Services Ireland & Scotland Excellence Award: This year’s award goes to Ciara Stefanowicz in recognition of her hard work and dedication over the past year, with Amy Devlin honored as the runner-up for her exceptional contributions.

Customer Services Nottingham Excellence Award: Congratulations to Lauren Whaley for taking home this incredible award, with Karen Freeman also recognised as a standout performer.

Export and International Excellence Award: Congratulations to Michelle Cross for winning, and a special mention to Barbara Martin as the runner-up.

Finance and Accounts Excellence Award: This year's award goes to Magdalena Sztyczak for her outstanding perfromance in the past year, with Neil Foster & Jo Hathway receiving distinguished recognition as runners-up for their exemplary contributions.

Key Accounts Excellence Award goes to Susan Van Der Westhuyzen for her incredible performance during the past year, while Kimberley Levai-Dale receives the honourable mention of runner-up for her remarkable efforts.

Marketing Excellence Award: David Zaborowski is honored as the winner, with Freya Hornsby and Lucy Moore as runners-up, each having delivered outstanding performance within their roles at SLS.

Procurement Excellence Award: James Dean is awarded as the winner of this category, with Sarah Bawden recognised as the runner-up.

Operations Excellence - IT, Compliance, Facilities, Drivers, Goods In: Simon West is the winner, with Connor Prideaux honoured as the runner-up for his excellent work.

Operations Excellence - Pick and Pack: The winners are Warren Gayle and David Rodgers, with Ben Spouge and Kevin Hornby being commended as runner-ups for their exceptional performance.

Best Newcomer of the Year Award goes to Simon West, with Freya Hornsby and Ruby Willett receiving special mentions as runner-ups for this category.

Light Bulb Award: Congratulations to Lucy Moore for winning this prestigious award, and to Eleanor Feek for earning runner-up honour for her innovative contributions.

The Extra Mile Award: Caroline Cann is honoured with this significant recognition for her outstanding team spirit while going above and beyond for her colleagues, while Susan Van Der Westhuyzen and Lauren Allcock are commended as runner-ups for their supportive and collaborative efforts.

The Golden Smile Award: Simon West is celebrated as the winner for his infectious positivity within the workplace, with Siu Ho recognised as the runner-up for spreading cheer and enthusiasm within the SLS family.

Last but not least, the Paul Smith Team Award of 2024 goes to Customer Service for their exceptional dedication and relentless effort in ensuring our services run seamlessly. The runner-up department is the Ops, IT, Compliance, Facilities, Drivers, and Goods In team, recognised for their significant contribution to the successful transition to our new distribution centre in Nottingham and for their fantastic collaborative efforts.
