The Calypso still is supplied ready for use on tap feed water supplies. If preferred however, a suitable pre-treated supply (deionised, reverse osmosis or already distilled water) may be supplied to the still using this pre-treated feed kit. In the pre-treated mode the already purified water is fed directly to the boiler while tap water is fed to the condenser for cooling purposes only.
