Biochem/physiol Actions

C-C motif chemokine ligand 20 (CCL20), also known as macrophage-inflammatory protein-3 α, recruits inflammatory and epithelial cells. It acts as a ligand for C-C chemokine receptor-6 (CCR6). The protein has a role in the growth and metastasis of pancreatic cancer.

The Human MIP-3 α ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human MIP-3 α in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.
