Fluazifop-P-butyl may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte:In different varieties of lettuce (Lactuca sativum) by capillary gas chromatography with nitrogen–phosphorus detection (NPD).In tea samples by modified QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe) sample preparation procedure combined with ultra-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC/MS/MS).

General description

Fluazifop-P-butyl belongs to the arylophenoxypropionate group of graminicides. It is a post-emergence herbicide that acts by inhibiting acetyl-CoA carboxylase enzyme activity, involved in the catalysis of the formation of malonyl-CoA during metabolism of lipids.
