Preparation of 2-methyl-4-nitroanilinium trichloroacetate trichloroacetic acid (2M4NATCA) crystals.10% Trichloroacetic acid may be employed for the preparation of radioactive proteins.
Traditionally used to precipitate protein. Has been used to determine protein concentration by quantitative precipitation. Used as decalcifier and fixative in microscopy.
