General description

The swab in the vial with phosphate buffer contains a neutralizing agent to counteract adverse effects of residual chlorine or quaternary ammonium compounds that may be present on surfaces after sanitization. The swab in the vial is used to sample the microbial levels on flat or irregular surfaces.
