Preparation Note

Suspend 29g of Thiol Broth in 1000 ml of distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense in tubes or erlenmeyer flasks to a depth of 6 cm for neutralization of Penicillin or in shallow layers for neutralization of Streptomycin. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs. pressure (121 °C) for 15 minutes.
