E&O supplements are formulated to be added to reconstituted dehydrated culture media thus producing selective or enriched media specific to groups of bacteria, specific species or even individual types. Selectivity is achieved by the addition of specific nutrients, antibiotics and/or chemical agents that inhibit, promote or indicate the growth of target organisms. These supplements are sterilised before freeze-drying and can be reconstituted in sterile water for direct addition to the cooled medium.

Supplied in packs of 10 vials. Each vial is sufficient for 500mL of finished medium.
