In the design of this new chemistry, it was an objective to create a very stable and reproducible phase with shorter retention times, while maintaining or improving selectivity over CYCLOBOND I 2000 RSP. With that goal and more achieved, CYCLOBOND I 2000 HP-RSP separates by extended H-bonding capability, and offers broad chiral selectivity for chiral screening. It is most beneficial for basic and neutral compounds. Bonded phase: (R,S)-Hydroxypropyl modified β-cyclodextrin (high performance)
