Membranes for the Fast Micro-Equilibrium Dialyzer are available in three different materials to suit your application. Membranes ship dry to increase their shelf life, and must be rehydrated before use.

  • Regenerated cellulose: constructed of a very stable cellulose, these membranes are resistant to solvents and inert to proteins, providing maximum sample retention. Available in MWCOs from 1 to 50kDa, they have less defined pore sizes than the cellulose acetate membranes.
  • Cellulose acetate: made of rayon and ideal for use with aqueous solutions, these membranes are inert to proteins providing high sample retention. They are not meant for use with any organic solvents. Available in MWCOs from 500Da to 300kDa, they have a more defined pore size than the regenerated cellulose membranes.
  • Polycarbonate: chemically resistant and ideal for use with acids and organic solvents, polycarbonate membranes are available with sharply defined pore sizes ranging from 0.01 to 0.60µm.
