Stainless steel round boiling bath which continuously boils. Fitted with a sheathed immersion heater and constant water level device, with resettable thermal cut out for low water level condition. Supplied with a set of rings to vary the aperture diameter accommodating different sizes of vessels such as evaporating dishes, glassware and round bottom flasks heated by steam.
The steam produced provides an effective source of heat for samples:
- That may be otherwise thermally damaged by a naked flame
- Used for applications to distil/concentrate liquids, melt agar and other solids
- Metallurgical analysis, protein analysis and bacteriological examinations
