Amido Black is a useful forensic stain typically used for enhancing latent prints contaminated with blood. Amido Black is very sensitive to the proteins found in blood. It leaves a black/blue stain and is usable on both porous and nonporous surfaces.

Keep in a tightly closed container, stored in a cooled, dry, ventilated area away from sources of heat or ignition. Protect from physical damage. Isolate from incompatible materials. Avoid contact and inhalation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, on clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.
